Activity Overview

Create Your Math Snowflake

1. Decorate the Base:

   • Each student will start by folding a piece of white paper into quarters, just like making a snowflake. Students should use scissors to create a unique snowflake design, cutting out shapes from the edges.

2. Math Concepts:

   • Each of the snowflake's six points will represent a different math topic (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and geometry).
   • Students will write a math problem or a concept related to each topic at the end of each point. For example:
     • Addition: "5 + 7 = ?"
     • Multiplication: "4 x 3 = ?"
     • Fractions: "What is 1/2 of 8?"

3. Submit Your Work:

   • After completing their snowflakes, students will display them on the classroom wall with pride.
