  2. Explain Convection:

    • Define convection as the transfer of thermal energy through fluids (liquids and gases) caused by the movement of the fluid itself.
    • Example: Boiling water where hot water rises and cold water sinks.
  3. Explain Radiation:

    • Define radiation as the transfer of energy through electromagnetic waves (not needing a medium).
    • Example: Feeling the warmth of the sun.
