To kick off our lesson, we’ll do a treasure hunt! I've hidden number cards around the classroom that represent the different digits from 0 to 9. Your mission is to find them!

1. Search the Room: Look high and low for the hidden cards. You’ll find cards that say things like "0", "1", "2", up to "9".
2. Group the Numbers: Once you collect them all, come back together and sort them into two groups – those for the ones place and those for the tens place.
