Imagine you find a magic door in your classroom. This door can only be opened with the right words! But here's the catch: the words are stuck in a mysterious code! If you want to enter and explore the magical world inside, you must decode these words.
To help you unlock the door, I’ve hidden some clue cards around the room. Each card has a word written in a special code. To decode the words, you'll need to use the sounds of the letters you know and blend them together!
Word Detective Teams: Divide into small groups. Each group will work together as a team of word detectives on a mission to decode the words.
Find the Clue Cards: Search the classroom for the hidden clue cards. Once you find one, bring it back to your group.
Decoding Time: Look at the letters on the card. Try to sound out the letters and blend the sounds together. Can you figure out what the word is?
Unlock the Door: After decoding each word, write it down on your team’s board. Once you’ve gathered enough words, we’ll use them to open the magic door together!
