Hook (5 minutes):

Introduction to Adjectives (5 minutes):

Introduction to Adverbs (5 minutes):
Explain adverbs and how they modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Use examples like "She runs quickly" or "The very large dog barked loudly."
Worksheet Activity (15 minutes):
Distribute worksheets that include exercises on identifying adjectives and adverbs. The worksheet should include sentences where students need to underline the adjectives and circle the adverbs.
Review Answers (5 minutes):
Go over the answers as a class, discussing why certain words are adjectives or adverbs and reinforcing the lesson learned.
Students will compose their own simple sentences, using at least two adjectives and two adverbs in their writing. Encourage creativity and ensure they know to focus on the modifiers.
