Lesson Plan: Lesson 13 - Adjectives and Adverbs

Objectives

Materials Needed


Introduction (15 minutes)

  1. Hook (5 minutes):
    Begin the lesson by asking students, "How can we make our writing more exciting?" Allow a few students to share their thoughts.

  2. Introduction to Adjectives (5 minutes):
    Discuss what adjectives are and how they describe nouns. Provide examples, such as "The happy dog," or "A tall building."

  3. Introduction to Adverbs (5 minutes):
    Explain adverbs and how they modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Use examples like "She runs quickly" or "The very large dog barked loudly."
