To kick things off, let's transform our classroom into a cozy story nook. Dim the lights a little and create a circle of soft pillows where we can sit. You can even add a blanket or two to make it feel extra special! 🎪✨
Gather around, everyone! Does anyone know what a story is? Stories are magical places where we can meet funny characters, go on exciting adventures, and even visit faraway lands! 🌍📖
Activity: Now, here comes the most exciting part! I have hidden some special tokens around the room. Each token has a picture on it that represents a different story. When you find a token, bring it back to the circle and tell us what story you think it might belong to! 🕵️♀️🕵️♂️
Once we have all the tokens in the circle, I will read a little bit from each story that was connected to the tokens we found. This will give us a taste of all the wonderful adventures we can have in our reading time today! 📚💖
