Imagine we are in a bustling city where our superhero friends live. But oh no! The villains have stolen their special gear, and they need our help to get it back! Each piece of gear is hidden behind a number puzzle that we must solve together.
Before we dive into the math excitement, let’s gather some superhero tools:
Let's warm up our brains with a little superhero song! Sing a fun, catchy song about numbers, using superhero names. For example:

Now that we're all warmed up, here’s your mission:
Mission 1: Help Superfly the Eagle count how many friends he has. If he has 3 friends, and 2 more join him, how many friends does he have now? (Encourage them to count using their blocks!)
Mission 2: Batman needs to organize his gadgets. He has 5 gadgets, but he lost 2 in the last battle. How many gadgets does he have left? (Use flashcards to visualize the subtraction.)
At the end of the lesson, we’ll all gather around the superhero poster and share what we learned. Then, we’ll create our own superhero math comic, showcasing our problem-solving skills!
