Mystery Boxes: I have brought three mystery boxes to our classroom today. Each box contains items that are part of an ecosystem, but they are hidden from sight!
Team Formation: We will split into small groups of four. Each group will take turns choosing a mystery box and having one member pick an item from it without revealing what it is.
Use Your Senses: The chosen member can only feel the item with their hands. They will need to use descriptive words to explain what they are feeling to their team—no peeking!
Once your team has discussed and agreed on your guesses, you will have to decide collectively which type of ecosystem you think the items represent (e.g., a forest, desert, ocean, etc.).
