Hello, wonderful second graders! 👋 Today, we are going to have a special class where we learn all about each other. Sharing about ourselves is a fun way to make friends and build our classroom community. Are you ready to introduce yourselves and make new friends? Let’s start with a fun activity called "All About Me!"
Draw Your Picture: At the top of your paper, draw a big picture of yourself. Make sure to include some of your favorite things, like your favorite animal or toy!
Write Your Name: Below your picture, write your name in big letters. You can decorate your name with colors or doodles!
Fill in the Blanks: Use the prompts below to add more about yourself. You can either write them or have someone help you.
Decorate Your Chart: Use crayons, markers, or stickers to make your chart bright and filled with things you love!
Once everyone has finished their "All About Me" chart, we will sit in a circle. One by one, each of you will get a turn to share what you wrote. Don’t worry, it’s okay to be a little shy—just know that we’re all friends here who can’t wait to learn more about you!
After each person shares, let’s give them a big round of applause and a high five. This way, we’re encouraging each other and showing how happy we are to learn about our wonderful classmates!
By the end of our lesson, we will not only know more about each other, but we will also have made new friends. Remember, this classroom is like a big family, and getting to know each other is the first step to having fun and learning together! Let’s get started! 🎉
