Good morning, class! 🌟 Today, we are going to embark on an exciting adventure into the world of brainstorming. But first, let's get our imaginations ready! I want you all to close your eyes for a moment. Can you see a magical forest filled with colorful creatures and tall, twisty trees? Imagine that each tree is a different idea waiting to be discovered!
To kick off our lesson, we're going to play a fun game called Idea Hat!
Prepare the Hat: I have brought a special hat (Feel free to use any fun hat you have in the classroom). Inside, there are colorful pieces of paper, each with a different word or phrase written on them (for example: "summer", "friends", "superheroes", "space", and "animals").
Draw a Word: Each of you will take turns drawing a piece of paper from the hat. Read your word aloud to the class.
Brainstorm Together: Once a word is drawn, I'll give everyone 1 minute to shout out or raise their hands with ideas related to that word. For example, if someone picks "superheroes," you might say "flying," "saving people," or "cool costumes!"
List Our Ideas: I will write down all the ideas on the board so we can see how many awesome thoughts we come up with together!
After we finish our game, we will discuss how brainstorming helps us come up with different ideas and solutions. Remember, in brainstorming, there are no wrong answers! It's all about using our creativity and thinking outside the box. 🧠✨
