Procedure
Introduction (5 minutes)
- Greet the students and introduce the topic of the lesson, the subjunctive.

- Write the definition of the subjunctive on the whiteboard and explain it in more detail if necessary.
Conjugation of Regular Subjunctive Verbs (10 minutes)
- Explain to the students that the subjunctive has its own set of verb forms that are different from the indicative.
- Show the students the regular subjunctive endings for -ar, -er, and -ir verbs and go over some examples.
- Have the students practice conjugating some regular verbs in the subjunctive.
Uses of the Subjunctive (10 minutes)
- Give the students some examples of when the subjunctive is used in Spanish (e.g. expressing doubt, giving advice, making suggestions).
