Leo has been an outstanding member of Year 5, demonstrating empathy and loyalty, and exhibiting qualities of an excellent leader when interacting with others. In Visual Arts, Leo excelled in his investigation of the use of symbolism in art, and effectively applied his learnings to create a precise and interesting Peace Poster that communicated the theme 'Dare to Dream.' Throughout the assignment, Leo took inspiration from Andy Warhol's artworks and, in the process, developed his traditional drawing skills while creating a self-portrait.

Leo is a proactive learner and was able to co-construct a success criteria for assessing both his own work and the work of his peers. He is recognized for his effort in challenging himself across various areas of learning, demonstrating problem-solving skills within a team. Leo's participation in the Regional da Vinci Decathlon, representing St. Joseph's, is a testament to his positive attitude towards learning.
