Lesson Activities

Hinze Dam Overview (10 minutes)

- Purpose of Hinze Dam: Explain that the dam provides water for drinking, irrigation, and helps prevent floods. It also creates a beautiful place for activities like swimming and picnicking.
- Fun Facts:
- The dam was first built in the 1970s but was upgraded in 2008.
- It can hold a large amount of water, enough to fill many Olympic-sized swimming pools!
