Welcome to our personal development class! Today we are going to embark on a fun and creative journey of self-discovery.
Through this lesson, we aim to help you gain insight into your strengths and weaknesses, and learn how to harness your strengths to become your personal superhero.
Let's start by getting our creative juices flowing. Imagine yourself as a superhero, one that represents your unique strengths and qualities.
Take a few minutes to think about qualities that make you stand out. Are you good at helping others, a great listener, or an exceptional problem solver? Write them down in a list.
Next, pick a character from your favourite superhero movies, and draw inspiration from their unique skills and abilities.
Combine your strengths with the traits of your superhero character to create your very own personal superhero. Draw a picture of your superhero, or write a short description.
We will go around the classroom and share our superheroes, and the qualities we admire about each other's creations.
Thinking about your superhero, what qualities make you proud of yourself? Are there any qualities you would like to develop to become even more like your superhero? Take a few minutes to reflect and jot down your thoughts.
We hope this activity helped you recognize your unique strengths and qualities, and showed you that you have the power to become your own personal superhero. Keep your superhero drawing or description handy to remind yourself of your strengths, and add any new qualities you wish to develop over time.
