Imagine that our digital world is like a bustling city filled with treasures, secrets, and some sneaky villains. Just like in a real city, we need "cyber detectives" to help keep everything safe! Today, we will embark on an exciting journey to learn about cybersecurity and how to protect ourselves in this digital landscape.

Activity Overview

1. The Cyber Detective Game
To kick off our lesson, we will play a game called "The Cyber Detective Hunt." Here’s how it works:

Mystery Scenario: You will split into small groups and receive a mystery scenario where something valuable (like a secret password or a saved video) has gone missing from our digital city. Your mission is to figure out how it was taken and how we can prevent it from happening again.
Clue Cards: Each group will get clue cards that contain information about common cybersecurity threats, such as:
- Phishing emails trying to deceive us.
- Viruses that can sneak into our devices.
- The importance of strong passwords.
- Safe browsing practices.
Detective Tools: Each group will receive "detective tools" in the form of questions to discuss, such as:
- What happened in the mystery?
- What clues suggest how the treasure was taken?
- How can we protect our digital city in the future?

2. Discussion:
After solving the mystery, we will come back together as a class to discuss the different strategies you discovered to keep our digital world safe.
