Procedure

Introduction (5 minutes)
- Begin the lesson by introducing the concept of dystopia.
- Ask students what they believe the term means and write their responses on the board.
- Introduce the objective of the lesson.

- Present the students with a definition of dystopia.
- Discuss the characteristics of a dystopia using examples from literature, film, and current events.
- Ask students to provide examples of dystopian societies they have encountered.
