To kick off our lesson, we’ll sing a simple and catchy song called "Cabeza, Hombros, Pies" (Head, Shoulders, Knees) that will help us learn the names of our body parts in Spanish.

Bring your cushions or sit comfortably on the carpet.

To the tune of "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes":
Get Moving!
As you sing each part, touch that part of your body. For example, when you sing "cabeza," tap your head!
After our energetic song, we’ll chat about the body parts we sang.
Ask Everyone:
“¿Qué parte del cuerpo es esta?” (What part of the body is this?) as you point to a part of your body.
Encourage Responses:
Let them answer in Spanish! If it’s "hombros," you can say, “¡Muy bien!” (Very good!)
Now that we know some body parts, it’s time to get creative!
Draw Your Body:
Grab some paper and crayons. Draw yourself and label the body parts in Spanish! You can write “ojo” for eye, “boca” for mouth, and so on.
Share and Tell:
After you finish, we’ll have a sharing time. You can show your drawing and say one thing about the body part you like the most!
