Hello, little explorers! Today, we are going to embark on a magical journey into the wonderful world of plants. Have you ever wondered how plants grow, what they need to be happy, or why they are so important? Well, today is your lucky day!
To start our lesson, let's gather around in a cozy circle. I’m going to tell you a story about a tiny seed named Sunny.
Once upon a time, in a bright and sunny garden, there was a little seed named Sunny. Sunny was very curious! He wanted to grow into a big, strong plant. But he didn’t know what he needed to grow.
One day, a friendly rain cloud floated by. “Hello, Sunny!” said the cloud. “Do you know what you need to grow?”
“No, what do I need?” Sunny replied.
The rain cloud smiled and said, “You need sunshine, water, and healthy soil!”
Excited by the rain cloud’s advice, Sunny called out, “Let’s find out more about sunshine, water, and soil!”
Let's help Sunny figure out what he needs! I have some pictures of things that plants use. You can help me sort them into three different baskets:
Next, we’ll create our very own plant using art supplies! Using green paper for leaves, brown paper for the stem, and colorful paper for flowers, we will make a beautiful plant!
At the end of our lesson, we will gather to share our plants and talk about how we can help Sunny grow strong and healthy at home and in our community.
I can’t wait to go on this plant adventure with all of you! Remember, just like Sunny, we all need the right things to grow! Ready, set, let's explore! 🌱
