However, as they unfolded their plans and intended supplies, reality struck.
“Alright, we have the list here…” Emma said, proudly holding a notepad covered in doodles and cheerful handwriting. “We need tents, sleeping bags, food supplies, and a first-aid kit!” She continued to read, “Oh, and let’s not forget the lanterns and cooking equipment!”
Jake, who had been jotting down the projected costs, suddenly looked up, his face paling. “Guys, I think we need to talk about money.”
“What do you mean?” Alex asked, his brow furrowing.

“Then we’d only need about $310 more, and we can work together to get that!” Emma exclaimed, her voice infused with excitement. “And if we combine our earnings, we can get creative with budgeting. Maybe we can share supplies too and split some of the costs on food by buying in bulk.”
“Wait,” Alex interjected, holding up a finger. “Why don't we keep track of everything in a group fund? We can put together a simple budget sheet on my laptop; it could help us manage expenses better!”
