Today, we are going to learn about an important topic called Erin's Law. It helps us understand how to stay safe and speak up about our feelings and experiences.
Imagine we're all sitting in a circle, just like a cozy campfire gathering! I want you each to think about your favorite superhero. Maybe it's someone from a movie, a comic book, or even someone you know personally. What do they do that makes them special? How do they help others?
Let’s take turns sharing our favorite superheroes and a little bit about why we chose them. Think about the qualities that make them brave and caring.
Now, think about how those superhero qualities can be found in each one of you! Just like superheroes have the power to help others and stand up for what's right, Erin's Law teaches us how to protect ourselves and our friends. It empowers us to speak up if something doesn’t feel right and to seek help when we need it.
After our story circle, we will dive deeper into Erin's Law and explore the important lessons it teaches us about personal safety, respect, and courage. By the end of our lesson, you'll learn how to be a superhero in your own life!
