Let’s kick off our lesson with a creative activity that will spark your imagination! Imagine you’re a famous art collector who has just returned from a whirlwind trip around the world. You’ve gathered incredible art pieces, each representing a different culture and story.

Activity: Pack Your Virtual Art Case!

  1. Materials Needed:

    • A blank sheet of paper
    • Colored pencils or markers
    • Magazines or printed images (optional)

  2. Instructions:

    • Draw Your Art Case: On your paper, draw a suitcase or backpack. Leave some space beside it for notes.
    • Fill It With Art: Think about three different countries you would like to "visit." In your art case, draw or cut out images of art from each of those countries. What makes each piece unique? Here are some prompts to help:
