Main Activity (20 minutes)

1. Life Cycle of a Butterfly (5 minutes)

• Show the life cycle picture cards in sequence: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly.
• Briefly explain each stage using simple language.
• Encourage children to repeat the stages after you.

2. Butterfly Craft (15 minutes)

• Instructions:

  • Provide the materials to each child.
  • Guide them on how to fold the coloured paper in half and cut out a butterfly shape.
  • Allow children to decorate their butterflies with markers, crayons, and googly eyes.
  • Help them attach pipe cleaners as antennae.
