Instructions:

1. The Setup (5 minutes)

   • Begin by placing all the random objects on a table in the classroom.
   • Introduce the concept of a business plan as a roadmap for a new venture, providing direction and ensuring that important details are not overlooked.

2. The Challenge (10 minutes)

   • Divide the class into small groups of 3-4 students.
   • Each group will have 2 minutes to select one object from the table and create a quick business plan for a new product based on that object.
     • Encourage them to consider the following elements:
       • Product Name
       • Target Market
       • Unique Selling Proposition (USP)
       • Basic Marketing Strategy

3. The Pitch (15 minutes)

   • After the preparation time, each group will have 1 minute to pitch their business idea to the class.
   • Remind them to highlight how their business plan would help them succeed in the marketplace.

4. Class Discussion (5 minutes)

   • After all pitches, facilitate a brief discussion on the following:
     • What did they find challenging about creating a business plan quickly?
     • Why is each element of the business plan essential?

Wrap up the activity by linking their experiences to the formal lesson on business plans. Highlight that just like in their quick pitches, a solid business plan requires thoughtful consideration of various components.
