Introduction (5 minutes)
- Begin the lesson by singing the "ABC Song" with the children, encouraging them to sing along.
- Display the flashcards for A, B, and C on the board and ask the children if they recognize any of the letters.
- Briefly discuss the importance of learning letters and how they are the building blocks of words.
Direct Instruction (10 minutes)

Letter A: Show the flashcard for A.
- Discuss its shape and have children trace it in the air with their fingers.
- Ask students to provide words that start with A, such as "apple" and "ant."
