To spark our imagination, let’s listen to a little story:

Once upon a time, on a distant island, there was a hidden treasure. But, to find it, you needed to solve the mystery of the Great Analog Clock! If you could work out the time, the treasure would reveal itself! Only the bravest adventurers could unlock its secrets. Can you help us figure out the time to find the treasure?

Activity: Our Time Machine!

Let’s become time detectives! You will need:

• A piece of paper
• A pencil
• A colourful clock face template (which I’ll give you)
• Some stickers or markers to represent the hour and minute hands

Follow the Clue

Now, I’ll give you a series of clues that you need to follow to uncover the time for our treasure:

1. First Clue:

   • The treasure reveals itself in the morning. Can you draw the hour hand pointing to 9 and the minute hand pointing to 00? This is our first clue!

2. Second Clue:

   • At 9 o'clock, we take our time machine back to 3 o'clock. What do you think happens when we change our hands? Can you show me on your clock template?

3. Final Clue:

   • Oh no! It seems the treasure can only be found when the clock strikes 12 o'clock. Can you feel the excitement? What does 12 o'clock look like on our clock?
