Hello, everyone! Today, we're going to embark on a magical adventure through the world of grammar. Are you ready? We will meet some new friends today: nouns, verbs, and adjectives!
Action Time: Next, discuss what the toy car can do. “Can it go fast?” or “Can we play with it?” Explain that words that show actions are called ‘verbs’.
Describing Words: Finally, ask the children to describe the toy car. “Is it big or small? What colour is it?” Explain that these descriptive words are called ‘Adjectives’.
By the end of this adventure, your students will have helped create a colourful grammar chart full of nouns, verbs, and adjectives. Remind them that every time they read or write, they can think about their new friends!
So, are you excited to learn more about these wonderful words? Let’s start our grammar adventure!
