Activity: Help Freddy Count His Friends!

• Here’s the plan: Your job is to help Freddy find the correct number of friends for each lily pad.

  1. We will place 4 shiny stickers (lily pads) on a table in our classroom.
  2. You will each get a handful of colorful counting bears or other small objects.
  3. As we call out each lily pad, you will pick one counting bear and place it on the pad.
  4. Can you help Freddy make sure that each lily pad has exactly one friend?
