Good morning, superstars! 🎉 Today we are going to embark on a Magical Math Adventure! Are you ready for some fun with numbers?

The Magic Number Box 🎩

Before we dive into our adventure, let me show you something special! I have a mysterious Magic Number Box here. Can you see how it sparkles? ✨ Inside this box, I have some wonderful things that will help us learn about numbers in a magical way!

What’s Inside?

• Brightly-coloured number cards: Ranging from 1 to 10 🌈
• Funny animal stickers: Each representing a different number 🐻🐰
• Shiny coins: To help us count and add! 💰

The Adventure Begins

Step 1: Discover & Share

Now, let's gather around! I will take out a number card from the Magic Number Box. When I show it to you, I want you to think of how many animals you can count that match that number. For example, if I show the number 3, you can think of 3 cats or 3 birds!

• Activity: Can anyone share an animal they think of when I show a number?

Step 2: Count Together

Next, let's all count together! I will take out the Funny Animal Stickers, and we will count how many of each animal we have. Let’s stick them onto the board as we count.

• Activity: Who can help me count? Let’s cheer for each group as we count together! 🎊

Step 3: Add and Play!

Finally, we'll play a little game with our Shiny Coins. I will show a number, and together, we will add coins to match that number. For example, if I say "5", we will all work together to find 5 shiny coins!
