What's a Shaddah?

In our adventure, the Shaddah is a special mark that can appear over certain letters. When a letter has a Shaddah, it means that letter gets to double its fun! It gets to say its sound twice! How cool is that?

Let’s take a look at some words where the Shaddah comes to life:

• مَكْمَرَة (Makkarah) - This means a “doughnut.”
• بِصَاقٌ (Biṣāq) - This means “spit.”
