As we conclude another academic year, it is essential to reflect on the growth and achievements of our Year 6 students in alignment with the Australian Curriculum. This year has been filled with numerous learning experiences that have not only contributed to their academic success but also their personal development.
Throughout the year, students have engaged in a comprehensive curriculum that encompasses various subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, and Geography.
In English, students have demonstrated significant improvements in their reading and writing skills. They have explored a diverse range of texts, adequately responding to literature with critical thinking and creativity. Their ability to identify key ideas and themes in both fiction and non-fiction texts has matured, allowing them to participate in informed discussions and articulate their perspectives effectively.
