Lesson Steps

1. Introduction to the Treasure Chest
   Gather the children in a circle and show them the treasure chest. Explain that inside this chest are special treasures related to the letters of the alphabet.

2. Reveal the Treasure Cards
   Start by picking one flashcard from the chest. Encourage the children to guess what letter it is. Once they identify the letter, hold the card up for the class to see.

3. Letter Sounds
   Have the class say the letter aloud together. Then, ask the children to make the sound that the letter makes. For example, if the letter is “B”, the children will say “B” and then “buh”.

4. Show the Treasure
