Hello, bright young minds! 🌟 Today, we’ll embark on an exciting journey as we start a brand-new school year together. We might be in a new classroom, but we’re here to learn about something very important: our health!
To kick off our lesson and get to know each other better, we’re going to play a fun icebreaker game called "Health Heroes." This activity will help us learn about each other's interests, hobbies, and what we all think is important for staying healthy!
Gather in a Circle: Let’s form a circle so everyone can see each other.
Choose a Health Hero: Think about someone who inspires you to stay healthy. This could be a family member, a friend, a famous athlete, or even a character from a book or movie.
Share with the Class: One by one, I’ll ask each of you to share the name of your Health Hero and one healthy habit they practice. For example, "My Health Hero is my dad because he goes for a run every morning!"
Pass the Health Ball: To make it fun, we’ll pass a soft ball around while we share. When you have the ball, it’s your turn to talk. When you’re finished, you’ll pass it to someone else in the circle.
After everyone has shared, we’ll talk about the different healthy habits mentioned. Here are some questions to consider:
This activity is not only a lovely way to get to know one another, but it also serves as a reminder that taking care of our health can be fun and exciting! Let’s make this school year about learning, sharing, and staying healthy together.
Now, who’s ready to start? 🎉
