• Materials Needed: A set of colourful number cards from 1 to 10.
• Instructions:
  • Spread out the number cards on the floor.
  • Let’s be detectives! Can you find and jump on the card that has the number 1?
  • When you find it, shout “One!” to share your excitement!

Activity 2: One Is Fun!

• Materials Needed: One shiny star sticker for each child.
• Instructions:
  • Each child will receive one star sticker.
  • Let’s decorate our stickers by drawing around them!
  • We can talk about why one star is so special!

Activity 3: One and Only!

• Materials Needed: A soft toy or puppet.
• Instructions:
  • Meet our special toy friend, “One the Bear.”
  • One the Bear wants to know about all the fun things we can do with just one!
  • Can you think of something you have only one of? (E.g., “I have one teddy bear!”)

Wrap-Up

As we finish our adventure with Number 1, let’s gather in a circle. We can take turns sharing what we love that comes in one!
