Gather the children in a circle on the carpet. Begin with a warm and cheerful greeting to get them excited!

The Magic Shape Kingdom

Storytime

"Today, we’re going on a magical adventure to the Shape Kingdom! In this kingdom, different shapes live happily in their own villages. Let’s meet them!"

Characters:

Sir Circle - a happy round shape who loves to roll.
Lady Square - a strong shape with four equal sides who loves to dance.
Prince Triangle - a playful shape with three points who loves to jump.

Engaging Activity

Shape Scavenger Hunt:

Objective: Help the children find shapes in the classroom.
Instructions:
- Tell the children that Sir Circle, Lady Square, and Prince Triangle need their help!
- Give them a special Shape Finder (a small piece of paper with illustrations of the three shapes) and let them explore the classroom!
- Encourage them to shout out when they see a circle, square, or triangle.

Reflection
