Beginning a Lesson on Personal Space in Physical Education

Welcome to Our Safe Space!

Good morning, friends! Today, we’re going to have so much fun learning about something very special: personal space!

Opening Activity: Bubble Time!

To kick off our lesson, let’s start with a fun and interactive activity called "Bubble Time!" Here’s what we’re going to do:

  1. Create Your Bubble: Imagine that you are inside a really big bubble. This bubble is your personal space, and it’s very important to keep it safe!

  2. Stand Up Together: Everyone, please stand up in a big circle. Make sure to leave a big bubble around you. Can you feel your bubble?

  3. Move Your Bubble: Now, let’s wiggle our bodies while staying inside our bubbles! Can you stretch your arms and legs without popping anyone else’s bubble?

  4. Freeze: When I say "Freeze!" everyone has to stop moving but stay inside your bubble.

Discussion

After we finish our activity, let’s sit down and talk about what we just did:

By exploring our bubbles, we can learn how to respect each other's personal space while having fun! Are you ready to jump into more exciting activities and games that respect our personal space? Let’s go!

Note: This playful start not only engages young learners but also sets a positive tone for understanding the concept of personal space in a physical setting.
