• Two clear plastic containers (like empty soda bottles)
• Water (to fill the containers)
• Different items that could mimic pollution, such as:
  • A dash of food coloring (representing chemicals)
  • Small bits of paper (representing litter)
  • Some soil (representing dirt pollution)

How to Begin:

1. Set Up: Before class, prepare two clear containers. Fill one with clean water and leave the other empty for now.

2. The Challenge:

   • Ask the students to pretend they are pollution detectives! Their mission is to figure out how pollution affects our water.
   • Show them the clean water and explain that it is like the water we drink and play in.
