Instructions:

  1. Introduction (5 minutes):

    • Begin by welcoming the students to English class and expressing excitement for a fun year ahead.
    • Briefly explain the importance of building friendships and understanding one another in a classroom setting.
  2. Explain the Game (10 minutes):

    • Introduce the game “Two Truths and a Lie.”
    • Explain the rules:
      • Each student will take turns sharing three statements about themselves.
      • Two of these statements must be true, and one must be a lie.
      • The rest of the class will guess which statement is the lie.
  3. Preparation (5 minutes):

    • Give students a few minutes to think of their statements. Encourage them to choose interesting or unique facts that their classmates might not know.
  4. Sharing (15-20 minutes):
