Teacher: "Today, we’re going to hear the story of 'Nina the Nature Explorer!' Let's sit back, relax, and listen closely."
(Begin reading with a cheerful tone.)
Once upon a time, in a colorful garden, there was a little girl named Nina. Nina loved to explore nature. She would always say, “There are so many new things to find!”
One sunny day, Nina saw a nifty snail sliding slowly on a noble leaf. “Look at you, little snail! You’re so neat!” she exclaimed.
As she walked further, Nina found some nests high up in the trees. “I wonder who lives there?” she wondered. “Maybe some nice little birds!”
Then, she spotted a neon butterfly fluttering by. “Wow! That butterfly is so bright and beautiful!”
Nina spent her day discovering nature, collecting colorful leaves, and taking care of her garden. Before going home, she picked a necklace of flowers, calling it her Nature Necklace.
When she got home, she proudly showed her mom all the new things she had found and made.
Teacher: "How many things did Nina find that started with the letter N?"
Encourage children to shout out answers like "Nina," "nature," "nifty," "neon," etc.
