Welcome to the Magic E Adventure!

Introduction to Magic E

Good morning, friends! 🌞 Today, we are going to embark on a magical journey into the world of words. Have you ever heard of the “Magic E”? It’s not just any letter; it’s a special letter that can change our words and make them sound different!

Attention Grabber: The Magic E Bag

To kick off our lesson, I have brought a special bag filled with mystery words! 🎒 Let’s take a look inside.

What You’ll Need:

Let’s Make Some Magic!

  1. Show the Bag:
Begin by showing your bag and telling the students, "Inside this bag, I have some words that need a little magic to transform them."

  2. Pull Out a Word:
Take a card out of the bag, for example, "cap." Show it to the students and ask, “What word is this?”

  3. Create the Magic:
Now, hold up the magic wand and say, “With the help of the Magic E, let’s see what happens to this word!”

  4. Add the Magic E:
Write the word “cap” on the board. Now, add an “e” at the end. Ask the students, “What do we have now?” Together, say “Cape!”

  5. Explain the Magic:
Tell them, "The Magic E at the end of the word is like a spell that makes the 'a' say its name! Isn’t that incredible?"

Engage the Class:

Now that we’ve practiced with one example, let’s continue to pull more words from the bag. Each time, we will add the Magic E and make new words together.

Conclusion:

By the end of our adventure today, you will be magical word masters! You’ll not only learn how to use the Magic E but also be able to turn a whole bunch of short words into something new and fun! ✨

Are you ready to begin our magical lesson? Let’s make some incredible words together! 🎉
