Lesson Outline
I. Introduction (5 minutes)
- Welcome students and explain the purpose of the day: to review key concepts and to share learning through presentations.
- Outline the agenda, including time allocations for each presentation and feedback sessions.
II. Student Presentations (30 minutes)
- Instructions: Each student/group will present their chosen economic topic for 5 minutes. After each presentation, allocate 2 minutes for questions and feedback from classmates.
- Encourage students to focus on clarity, engagement, and the demonstration of economic principles.
III. Peer Evaluation (10 minutes)
- Activity: Students will use a peer evaluation rubric to assess at least two presentations from their classmates.
- Highlight the importance of constructive criticism and respectful feedback.
IV. Summary Creation (5 minutes)
- Instructions: Individually, students will fill out a summary template based on the presentations they've heard.
- Emphasize including key concepts, insights gained, and any remaining questions they may have about the economic topics discussed.
Assessment
- Presentation Assessment: Use a rubric with criteria including clarity, engagement, accurate economic principles, and ability to answer questions.
- Peer Evaluation: Assess the depth and thoughtfulness of the feedback provided to peers.
- Summary Document: Review the completeness and understanding demonstrated in each student's summary to evaluate their grasp of the concepts discussed.
Homework Assignment
- Task: Write a 1-2 page reflection on one presentation that stood out to you during today’s session. Discuss the economic principles it illustrated and how it relates to real-world applications.
- Due: Next class
- Grading Criteria: Clarity of analysis, application of economic terminology, and personal insight.
Answer Key for Homework Reflection
- The reflection should ideally cover:

- Real-world applications or examples related to the topic.
- Personal insights or new understandings gained from the presentation.
