  1. Gather around! I'm going to pull out the first item from the magic sound box.
  2. As I reveal it, listen carefully to the sound it makes, or the first letter of its name!
  3. You'll all have a chance to guess what the item is and the sound it begins with.
  4. Once we've figured it out, we’ll write it down together!

If I pull out a "ball," I'll say: "What sound does 'ball' start with? That's right! It starts with the /b/ sound!"
