Starting the Lesson

1. Create Excitement with a Story:

Begin the lesson by gathering the students in a circle and sharing this imaginative tale:

Captain Preposition discovered a map leading to treasures buried beneath an ancient tree, beside a sparkling river, and inside a mysterious cave.
