Objectives

- Open space (gymnasium or playground)
- Cones or markers for boundaries
- Soft balls or beanbags

Introduction (5 Minutes)
- Greet the students and introduce the topic of gross motor skills.
- Explain what gross motor skills are: movements that involve the large muscles of the body, like those in the legs, arms, and torso.
- Use a simple analogy: “Gross motor skills are like moving our big muscles to play and have fun!”
Warm-Up Activity (5 Minutes)
- Animal Walks: Instruct students to imitate different animals as a warm-up.
- Bear crawl (hands and feet on the ground)
- Bunny hop (jumping with both feet together)
- Frog jump (squat and jump forward)
- Encourage creativity: Let the students suggest their own animal movements.

- Play a game of “Simon Says” focusing on gross motor movements:
