Good morning, little explorers! Today, we are going to embark on an exciting adventure as we learn all about My Body! Get ready to discover the amazing things our bodies can do, and how every part is special and important.
To kick off our lesson, let’s sing a fun song together! Here’s a simple tune we can sing to the melody of “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.”
(To the tune of "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes")
🎶
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes,
Knees and toes!
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes,
Knees and toes!
Eyes and ears and mouth and nose,
Mouth and nose!
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes,
Knees and toes!
🎶
As we sing, point to each body part! Can you wiggle your toes and touch your nose? Great job!
Now, let’s go on a Body Part Hunt! I will call out a body part, and I want you to find it on your own body. Ready?
This is a fun way to learn about what makes up our wonderful bodies!
After our body hunt, let’s gather in a circle and talk about what we found. What do you like most about your body? Is there a special thing your hands can do?
You can share your thoughts, and I will write them down on our big paper. Every idea is important!
As we finish our introduction, get ready for some creative exploration! In just a bit, we will have an art project where you can draw your favorite body part and say something nice about it.
Let’s get those creative juices flowing!
Today, we will have so much fun learning about My Body! Let’s jump in and open our arms wide for our adventures ahead! 🌈✨
