Let's Be Emotion Explorers!

Introduction

Welcome, everyone! Today, we are going on a super exciting adventure! Are you ready to become Emotion Explorers? 🌟

The Adventure Begins

Gather Around:
Let’s all sit in a circle. Once everyone is settled, I want you to take a big, deep breath in… and out. Can you feel your tummy getting bigger? Awesome! 🌈

Show and Tell Emotions:
I’ve brought some special emotion cards today! Each card has a different face showing an emotion: happy, sad, surprised, angry, and silly! 🥳😢😲😠😜

Activity: Meet the Emotions!

1. Pick a Card: I will pass around the emotion cards. When it gets to you, take a look at your card and show us the face that matches the emotion. Let’s all try to make the same face together!

2. Share a Moment: After you show your card, share a short story or a time when you felt that way. For example, if you have the happy card, tell us about a time you felt super happy!

Connecting Through Feelings

Circle of Feelings

After everyone has shared their thoughts, we will create a "Circle of Feelings" on our big poster board.

• Draw it Out: Using crayons or markers, everyone will draw a small picture beside their emotion. It could be something that made them feel that way, or just a smiley face! 🌼✨

Closing the Adventure

Finally, we’ll finish our lesson by standing in a circle again and singing our "Feelings Song." (We can make up a fun tune together!) 🎵

This is a great way to remind us how important it is to share our feelings and understand how others feel too. Remember, each emotion is a part of us, and it's okay to feel all of them!
