Activity: Noun Journey
Close Your Eyes: First, close your eyes and picture a beautiful land made of nouns. What do you see?
Indulge Your Senses: Can you hear the animals? What sounds do they make? Do you feel the soft grass under your feet? What objects can you touch in Nounland?
Draw Your Scene: Open your eyes and grab a piece of paper! Draw a picture of what you imagined in Nounland. Be creative! Add as many nouns as you can think of—maybe a giant elephant, a cozy cabin, or a sparkling river!
After you finish your drawing, we’re going to take turns sharing our creations. As you share, try to name as many nouns as you can! We’ll write these on the board, and together we’ll see just how many nouns exist in Nounland.
