As you settle into your seats today, I want you to imagine a world without color. Picture it: gray skies, dull landscapes, and people dressed in shades of black and white. How would that change your feelings, your thoughts, or your creativity?
Now, let’s shake off that gloomy image!
Color Cards: I have a stack of color cards for you! Each card has a different color (red, blue, yellow, green, etc.). As I hand them out, I want you to think about the emotion or mood that comes to mind when you see that color.
Express Yourself: Once you have your color card, take a moment to scribble down a word or short phrase that captures the feeling associated with your color. Don’t think too hard; let your instincts guide you!
Sharing Circle: Now that everyone has a color, let’s form a circle. Going around the group, share your color and your associated emotion. Listen carefully as you will notice how different colors evoke different feelings for each of you!
