Hello, little explorers! Today, we’re beginning a brand new adventure as we step into our classroom for the first time! 🌟 Are you excited? I know I am! Let’s make this first week super special together!
Let’s start by gathering in a big circle on the colorful carpet. Each of you will take turns saying your name and sharing something you love. It could be a favorite toy, a favorite food, or even a favorite animal!

Why? This helps us learn about each other and creates a warm, friendly environment!
Now that we know each other a little better, it’s time to use our imagination! Pick some crayons, markers, or colored pencils and create a picture that shows something special about you!

Once you finish, we will have an "Art Show" where you get to share your masterpiece with the class!
After our art session, let’s settle down for story time. I’ll read “The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn, a comforting tale about a little raccoon who learns that he can feel close to his mommy, even when they are apart.
✨ Why this story? It’s perfect for our first week! It reminds us that it’s okay to feel nervous and that we are all together in this journey.
Let’s gather again and sing our Welcome Song! It’s a fun song that helps remind us we’re all friends. We’ll add some dance moves too!
