What You Need:

• A mystery box (you can use a plain cardboard box with a lid)
• Different art supplies (small items like crayons, paintbrushes, glitter, or fabric scraps)
• A cloth or scarf to cover the box

How It Works:

1. Gather Around: Have all the children sit in a circle around the mystery box.

2. Introduce the Box: Show them the mystery box but keep the lid closed. Tell them that inside the box lies magical art supplies that will help them create wonderful artwork!

3. Guessing Game: Invite each child to take a turn feeling around inside the box (while keeping their eyes closed or the box covered). They can say what they think they feel. Is it a paintbrush? A feather? Glitter?

4. Reveal the Supplies: Once everyone has had a turn, open the box and pull out the art supplies one by one. As you reveal each item, ask the children to brainstorm ideas on what they can create with it!
