✨ Welcome, Young Explorers! ✨
Today, we are going on a Shape Treasure Hunt! But before we begin our adventure, let’s gather our explorer gear:
To kick off our lesson, we'll start by unveiling a mysterious map! Hold up your colored shapes and imagine they’re treasures hidden all around us. The shapes we see in our everyday lives—like the windows in our classroom or the books on our desks—are part of our treasure!
Go on a mini-exploration around the classroom! With your buddy, search for objects that match your colored shape. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
After our treasure hunt, we’ll come back and share our findings! Each pair will present one shape they found and tell the class about it. This sharing will help us learn more about the shapes we see every day.
After our shape discoveries, we’ll celebrate with a fun Shape Dance where each shape has its own dance move. Let’s make learning about shapes exciting and fun together!
Every shape has its own story! Let’s uncover them and turn our classroom into a shape-tastic adventure!
